This first part is just demonstrating a couple different ways to link to the pages with the slideshows on them. I can do them next to each other, on top of each other, etc. We can talk about how you want this to look.

I like MetaSlider (on the pages) more than Smart Slider (the one below). It’s just easier to use, and it works great for that front page. I honestly couldn’t get Smart Slider to look right when displayed there.
One downside is that you’d have to get MetaSlider Pro to get them to have the Thumbnail Navigation where it shows boxes with the image at the bottom. That comes free with Smart Slider, but I honestly can’t get it to work right (see below).
We could have more than one Slider Plugin for the site, but it’s better if we just pick one.
